5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly as described by the title. 15 April 2014

This book clearly explains how to create simple stitches. I bought it to help me put into words how to create a blanket stitch. It was great for that and took a sensible route through the creation of various stitches starting with the most basic and adding the twists.
4.0 out of 5 stars very easy 22 Feb 2014

This is a basic book with very few different stitches. There are enough however, to do a first project. The only complaints I have are that the directions for the French knot are a bit difficult to follow. You should wrap the thread around the needle twice in order to get a real knot.

I found this book just a little too basic for my needs. White it would be very good for a beginner, there are a lot of variations of these stitches that could have been included

Good instructions for a beginner. Easy to follow directions with pictures. Worth the ninety nine cents I paid for it.

I feel like I've been had! This "book" demonstrates only 7 of the most basic stitches and most are just a variation of the straight stitch. So disappointing!
