I bought this book after I started an SAP module and couldnt get to grips with all the accounting principles. This book answered all the questions that had been preying on my mind since the course started. It is a godsend. Questions like how come money that has to be paid out is referred to as Credit, and money received is know as Debit, moreso when in real life, debit shows on statements when you OWE the bank money. All of these were explained and the exercises are brilliant. I will recommend this book for anyone need this knowledge for SAP purposes.

I bought this book for a colleague to get a basic knowledge of accounting. I was surprised there was no glossary of terms. How can you learn accounting without knowing what the terminology means?

I was greatly disappointed by this book and wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing it for a beginner with no concept of accounting yet.
