I recieved the bike in perfect condition, well wrapped and protected. Although I thought I might have trouble putting it together it was relatively straight forward, I did take it into a trusted local bike shop who gave it the once over for me, they said it was good value for money and the gears was the only thing that he said might need a little jigling with. He was right. I am happy with the look and handling so far, however early days and a few more test rides will give me a better feel. For my first venture into bikes for so long it appears to be good value for money.

So. I am 17 years old and slightly overweight so i decided to start biking again. My old bike was way to small but i persevered with it until i hit a bump in the road and went flying. Broke the bike. So, I went to every shop and possible bikes supplier and after a while saw this and wanted it for the dual suspension.
Ordered it yesterday 24/05/11 and it arrived today!!!! 25/05/11, therefore super quick delivery.
The building of it was... interesting... took an hour and i had to get around a slight brake flaw. However was straight actually forward. Works perfectly, and already have racked up 3 hours on it. I went over the same bump to test it... and... no problem. Like running over a stone.
The saddle is really comfortable, the silver and red colour looks AMAZING and the brakes are incredible.
Pros: Mostly everything.
Cons: Getting the wheel to squeeze in between the brakes was difficult.
: The gears slipped ones.

When this bike arrived i was very happy with both the packaging & easy assembly.
I wrote a review at the time stating that i thought it was a good bike at a good price, this was 2 months ago. Unfortunatly since then i have had nothing but trouble with the lower crank bearings. After only a few hours use i had movement at the spindle, i had a local bike shop re-grease & re-set the bearings but i was informed that the threading on the frame was worn & within a week they were loose again. I have since had the bearing & spindle set replaced & the thread re-tapped but the same thing has happened again. My bike mechanic has implied that the fault is with the threading on the frame when it was manufactured.
I don't know if this is an isolated fault with my bike or an inherent fault with this model.
I can no longer use the bike for any more than a few minutes without tightening the caps.
I realise that this was not the most expensive bike i could have bought, but i expected better.

Good product for the price

Magic carpet
Apart from my picture review, the only problem was getting enough toe in on the front brake blocks to prevent squealing. Loosen them right off first! Read more

bike
this is a very nice looking bike for the cost but the handelbar dont keep tight at all and the seat is very not nice to ride on as it is to hard all over
