I bought these for my mother to replace an ancient pair of Hoya 8x40s. The B&S Saharas are much lighter and more comfortable to hold, and being a 40 binocular, fit nicely in the hands. The rubber coating feels durable too.
I also have a pair of Leica 10 x 32, which cost about 10 times more than the Saharas; whilst they have better contrast and colour, edge-to-edge sharpness, and undoubted better build quality, the B&S binoculars come very close. I'd say they were 80-90% of the performance, although probably in the long term the Leicas will way outlast them.
Slight downsides are the focus wheel is a bit stiff and inconsistent, and I think the eyecup extension (which twists out in the same way as the Leica) isn't quite the same on each side.
Overall though, for less than £100 these are excellent.
