I bought this as a birthday present for a friend who wanted some extra virgin coconut oil, she loves it and eats it straight out of the jar, uses it like a spread and has used it as a facial/hair moisturiser - all in all a very good purchase! I was surprised how lightweight it was and that it is solid, not a runny oil. It was well packaged & was delivered promptly.

I am a witness to how coconut pulling before eating 1st thing in the morning for 20 min is improving my health issues. I also eat 3 tbls of the oil daily,or put it in tea and it is mandatory the oil tastes like coconut not like lard! Barleans coconut oil tastes, smells like coconuts. I enjoy eating it right off the spoon. I have been doing it for a few weeks already feel the difference in energy level increased,aches pains in my body are gone. I compared this with 2 brands Fushi,Biona, Barleans wins in taste,smell test. Barleans comes in a dark brown container and Sealed!this is why there oil is better. Fushi and Biona did not have a seal and in light colored jars. Fushi lid was loose when I bought it from Amazon dealer. Thanks Barlean for great quality product I just bought more jars.

Bought this as I recently read about the many benefits of coconut oil. Found this better than other brands, either from here on Amazon or at Holland and Barratt. I do not like the taste of the stuff (not too strong but atleast not artificial tasting, as some brands almost have a plastic-like flavour) but the texture is again the best I have come across. It is not too oily, either to taste or apply as a skin softener, and the fact that it is extra virgin and not just virgin coconut oil, means that the quality is at its highest. Am on my second pot. Would buy again.
