This is a strange album from 2001 on which Jean Beauvoir revisits and reprises with an acoustic treatment some of his previous solo material, "Feel the Heat" and "Same Song Plays On and On", adds 10, then-new, acoustic tunes and for reasons best known to himself throws in a slightly insipid cover of "California Dreaming", the old Mamas & Papas 60s hit.
Unfortunately, whilst very pleasant to listen to, the then-new songs are somewhat samey with no particular one standing out and the best tunes on the album are his old ones "Feel the Heat" and "Same Song Plays On and On" (which incidentally I personally prefer the original electric versions of).
Despite the 4* rating this album should definitely be labelled and filed under the category of "For fans/completists only".
