This is a high quality and beautifully made jacket not bulky at all and is very warm, just what's needed at this time of year.

After a months wait as out of stock my jacket finally arrived. I ordered my usual size 10 and I would say it is close fitting which I am sure it is meant to be. The arms are a bit long and I have to turn them back but I think this looks rather nice. I am always a size 8 to 10 but was almost tempted to try a 12 as I find it strange feeling a jacket snug against my hips, but I am sure it would have been too big as the shoulders and across the back are fine. I do like the fitted shape which gives you a nice feminine line. My son's girlfriend has the Polar Quilt International in a size 10 and I would definately say that it comes up bigger than the Utility Polar Quilt.
All in all a wonderfully warm stylish jacket that is very understated as the Barbour logo is embossed on the pocket flap and not emblazeoned on the front. Well worth the wait and £50.00 cheaper than the International version! Love it.
