This product is good, it's smaller than I would have wanted and the additional pieces are very flimsy, but considering how much it cost you cant be too dissappointed. In short you get what you pay for.

At first I was very excited to get this doll as a gift for my 2 year old daughter. She loves playing with hair in a variety of ways however, much to my disapointment the doll was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too small and very misleading to the promo picture... as a result I had to return it straight away! NOT HAPPY.

I wonder what makes this doll African American?
Could it be her stick straight hair? Or her European features...tiny nose and green eyes? Or her honey tanned skin tone? It's ridiculous to call this doll African-American. I'd really prefer a hair doll that helped my daughter learn how to work with wavy/curly hair and that had some features that remotely resembled her own.

Purchased for my 4 yr old grandaughter. Every time she combed the hair it shed... everywhere. After a couple of months the head was just about bald. My daughter-in-law was tired of sweeping up the hair and eventually threw the whole thing out.
