My daughter asked for her first Barbie doll for her 4th birthday and this was an absolute winner. This product has one doll with 3 outfits, a princess, a fairy and a ballerina. What more could a little girl ask for! Personally I still think she's a bit young for Barbie but what do I know...
The tops of all 3 outfits are made of plastic and clip on which is much easier for little ones that struggling with "proper" clothes. All the outfits have a clip-on top (one with wings), a skirt, shoes and jewelary.
Recommended as a first Barbie - and in comparison with some of the other sets I saw, I think this is fairly good value.

My just three year old daughter loves this Barbie. She has trouble putting the clothes back on still and has my husband and I do it. Soon as the clothes are on, she takes them back off. I like that there is a permanent bathing suit type thing painted on the Barbie. When I was growing up Barbie's were just bare underneath. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it is a little nicer detail to have.
