Despite other reviews, I believe this MP3 player is an absolute joke as I purchased one for my daughter's christmas. The sound quality is barely hearable with the headphones in (yes, I've tried much better headphones)as the volume is very poor. Furthermore, I am disappointed with the price as for a very similar price I could have purchased an Ipod Shuffle (which I recommend to everyone else - DO NOT BUY THIS !!!)

The build quality is also very flimsy looking as if it could break very easily and I am disgusted at this product, a complete waste of hard earned money .. !

Therefore, I can conclude that the quality of this item is poor in every aspect, and it is a rip off for the price also, as for similar money you can buy much better devices.

This is great item, easy to use and upload music files, simple enough for my 6yr old daughter to use, which is great.

In my opinion the new Barbie MP3 players which are to be released sometime later this year are going to be one of the biggest sellers this Christmas. Not only is it a stylish music machine it's also a doll and it links to the new Barbiegirls website.
I've been fortunate enough to be given a Barbie Mp3 player in order to test it out and I think it's fantastic.

The music players are available in three styles, take the form of the company's new Barbie Girls pre-teen characters, and feature removable faceplates that allow the devices to double as customizable dolls. The 4.5-inch Barbie Girls device has 512 MB of onboard memory and an expandable miniSD slot that accepts up to a 2 GB memory card. The unit can play any non-DRM-encrypted MP3 or WMA files, comes loaded with Windows Media Player 11, and has a built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery that charges via a USB port.

I've also been trying out Barbie's fab new online world BarbieGirls.com. BarbieGirls.com is THE place for Internet-savvy fashionistas to hang out, play cool games and go shopping and chat live to other girls (for concerned parents like my dad was, Barbiegirls chat is limited to a 2000 word vocabulary and is filtered for swearing and obscene content). With over two quadrillion wicked looks and styles to choose from, you can create a totally cool avatar and design your own funky virtual bedroom. Explore BarbieGirls.com and you'll find brill places to visit like the cinema, beauty salon, park, café and tons of clothes stores so you can shop till you drop. When you link the super-stylish Barbie Girls device, you can unlock loads more cool stuff on BarbieGirls.com like extra fashions and the ability to buy the cutest pets. Funky Barbie Girls devices look like cool fashion dolls and come with loads of changeable fashions and charms so you can create a totally new look everyday. Plus your device will also store and play out up to 120 MP3 songs so you can enjoy your favorite tunes on the go.

The Barbie Girls device costs around RRP £49.99 and is well worth it.

My verdict is the Barbie MP3 player is a must have for any fashion conscious girl.
