I know its going to sound strange but I bought this for my son. He had seen a trailer on his Postman Pat DVD for it and would watch it over and over again, so in the end I decided to get the DVD for him. He enjoyed watching this and there was a scary part in it that we talked about. He was genuinely concerned for Barbie and her friends when they were headed to this danger. There are some good messages in the film for children such as friendship, respect and patience. My son has watched this quite a few times now and so have I - yes, I enjoyed it too!

All I can say is this DVD gets played over and over again! My four year old just loves Barbie DVDs, but this is her favourite. She loves the part when 'Bibble' starts singing in different voices. We have to play this part repeatedly. I think Barbie DVDs all contain music, which is mostly classical and this seems to appeal to young children.

Bought this for my 5 year daughter who loves the Barbie films and also loves Mermaid's! She's watched this many times now and is still happy to sit right the way through it!

This is a perfect gift for any little girl who likes stories about Mermaids, Fairies and Princesses. I would definately recommend this DVD.

I bought this for my Grandaughter, who loves all the Barbie DVD's and I think she told me that this was really Good.
