In the Barbie Fairytopia movie, Barbie is Elina, a beautiful wingless flower fairy who lives in the far off land of Fairytopia. When her home and surrounding flower fields become ill, she sets off with her clumsy, but loveable furry friend Bibble to Fairytown in search of answers.
Along the way Elina has numerous adventures and encounters many new friends. She overcomes her fears and manages to foil the wily Laverna’s plot to reign over Fairytopia and frees the imprisoned rulers--saving her beloved land from destruction. As a reward for her bravery Elina is granted the most beautiful wings in all of Fairytopia--the most spectacular that any of the other fairies have ever seen.

Like the rest of the Barbie series this is brilliant, with excellent animation and storytelling. Its totally original (no basis on actual fairy tales or existing fiction) and I eagerly look forward to the next one in the series.
This story has the moral that anyone can make difference no matter how different you are; the good are rewarded and the bad are punished.

This is the best barbie film ever.They used excellent names for fairies and the enchantress was a bit funny i supose.Can't wait till the book comes out.After this there is a new film called Barbie and the magic of Pegasus.Get that one if you love horses.

I bought this for my 5 year old grand daughter and she finds it magical and is enchanted by the story, her 2 year old brother loves it too!
