This item is a nice addition to a barbie collection only if your child has a good imagination. I play barbie's with my 6 yr old. I think I get more of a kick out of it than she does. There is no sound from the chair or lights from the lamp. It comes with all kinds of lil gadgets like video game controllers and movies, all the things you would find in a rich person's entertainment room perfectly sized for barbie. I bought this and a milllion other accessories for my daughter to use with the barbie my house I got her for christmas. She loved these items.
