It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the bodice on this doll is part of her body, i.e. plastic (not a real dress) so the dressing-up opportunities are limited.
I found this doll very tacky to look at (but I guess that's not too surprising at the price) but my daughter was desperate to get her hands on it and loved the feet that you can point.

The barbie doll is beautiful and my daughter loved it the moment I gave it to her. The prefect gift for any girl who wants to be a ballerina or a dancer. Even my daughters friends love the doll.

My daughter received this Barbie as a birthday gift. It was a great gift for a two year old as the only removable piece of clothing is the tutu. After about a week of play the skirt started to unravel, but she still loved to play with it and came up to me all the time and said make Barbie dance. The shoes are painted on, the legs, and bodice are also painted on making it a great first Barbie. She wasn't rough on it at all. She loved this Barbie. She took it everywhere with her including to bed with her, we had it for about two months when one morning I went to get her from bed when she looked at me so seriously and said "mommy barbie shoes came off". Well it wasn't the shoes that came off it was the legs completely. I was very disappointed & and so was my little girl. I am now on the search for another Barbie with the same qualities (painted on shoes, etc) that will last!
