READ THIS BOOK! 2 Feb 2009
A Kid's Review
Format:Hardcover
If you like stories where lots and lots happens, you will be amazed at this book. I have now read all of the series An Awfully Beastly Business. The first time I read them I couldn't put them down. They're about a werewolf called Ulf and he must beat an evil Baron. I liked this one because Ulf goes to rescue trolls and there are lots of surprises. I loved Gumball the goblin and the Predatron. This book is the best one in the series yet. Read it now! Luke, Age 10

Jungle Vampire 8 Mar 2011
Format:Hardcover
My son waits at the school bus stop with his head in this book: he cant put it down. It is a highly imaginative, action-packed adventure story of goodies overcoming baddies in their desire to protect and preserve weird, endangered beasts. I am reading it to my sons aged 6, 8 and 10 and they all try to guess what is going to happen next. It has great momentum, quirky characters and timely humour just when things are getting a bit tense. This is the fourth we have read in this series and I would recommend them to any young readers who have a sense of adventure!

Positive message 12 April 2009

If you want adventure for a younger reader and a tale that brings the conservation message home then you really can't beat this series of books by "The Beastly Boys." Its entertaining with a protagonist that the reader can get behind especially when he outwits the principle antagonist. Highly novel with its use of monsters as the endangered creatures of the world it really is a high octane read especially when backed up with the artistic talent within. A definite recommendation as my nephew loved hearing the story with the others of the series being firm favourites.
