| Please read before using your LoJo WARNING! LoJo Ball is not a toy. Please follow these instructions and care guide. The LoJo must be turned upside down with the bean seat facing upwards to zip up the LoJo. You MUST push down on the seat and push the zip together before closing the zip. Please refer to instructions below. This product is not recommended for children under the age of 6 without adult supervision, as children will find it difficult to zip up the LoJo without following these instructions. DO NOT OVER-INFLATE THE LOJO. It will not be comfortable and will cause unnecessary stress on the zip and seams. In hot weather the air inside will expand. Adjust the pressure to suit. Thank You. |

This is probably below their cost, product is top notch

How could I be the first reviewer of this? Lojo Ball probably started selling in 2008~2009 (UK first) and this is now 2012! Before I received my 2 balls, I suspect that the asking price of $45 was below cost cos' the UK mother site still lists these for 99-pounds or $157 USD each + freight. Now after receiving and setting up 2 balls, I am more sure of my belief. These balls are very well-made, its dual-bladder + bean seat design is one-of-a-kind. After inflation, balls are round, consistent between them, and size is adjustable so that they look identical when placed side-by-side. They function like a stool, or ottoman, or floor chair. The last role is of particular importance for me as now I place them in front of my home theater seating as front chairs. They're bigger than I expected, bigger than a normal spherical stool. These are 19" diameter easily. I gave it 5 stars but in my perfect world, these could be better.
1) US Importer doesn't carry the black and silver colors, boo...
2) The 2nd valve (top/main one) requires TINY fingers to tighten.
3) There are way too many loosened papers (manuals), they should be consolidated into one.
4) One huge plastic pump per ball, the planet isn't happy about this, now I got 2 pumps.
5) The carrying bag is also unnecessary, luckily, you can use them as recyclable grocery bags.
6) Cut open the cartons CAREFULLY, use a cutter but bear in mind that the skin of the ball is RIGHT NEXT TO it. There's no padding no cardboard to protect the skin, it was unnerving to witness!
Other than these, these balls are excellent and deliver what they promise. I'm not a brown color type of guy but even I find these totally acceptable and practical. Fetch them before they raise the price back up to the UK ones... And to the US importer, please please import the black and silver ones.
