5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Of The Best, 3 Jan 2005
By
Adam Cox (Blackpool, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Bands 2005 Vol.1 (Audio CD)
Finally an album with all the best music (as opposed to the usual pop trash) is produced. In my opinion there is not a single bad or weak song on this compilation. It has everything a fan of good and proper music could want. It includes legendary bands such as Oasis, REM and Embrace up to the brightest new talents such as The Zutons, The Vines and of course the undeniable Franz Ferdinand. Brilliant new acts such as Bloc Party and Kaiser Chiefs are also there and not forgetting icons such as Morrissey, The Ramones and The Clash with the unforgetable, London Calling. For anyone who has taste in music, this album is everything you could want, because this album truly puts together, the best of the best.

4.0 out of 5 stars A worthy succesor to the best bads ever, 11 Jun 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: The Bands 2005 Vol.1 (Audio CD)
Well, i was bought the best bands ever as a christmas present a few years back, which is an excellent album. This new compilation is a worthy successor. It contains a good mix of the bands that are around now, brought together on two enjoyable cd's. However the inclusion of what some might term rap or urban music does cause the loss of one star. All in all a good buy.
