Who can rely on you? 12 Feb 2008
Format:Audio CD
Yeah,I love this album too! From the start with "Get A Rise" complete with its fuzz lead guitar freakout to "Speak Down The Wires" with its inspired lyrics of yearning and compassion...."The Whale" is tender and yet impassioned and still so relevant today...."Love Gang"-surely the best number one single that never was!"John Wayne"- another classic: "don't believe in the movies, the good guy gets it wrong".
And so it goes. The Edgar Broughton Band:poets, mystics and all round musical acrobats!-well,if their album before this;"Oora" was anything to go by anyway!:
From the fuzzy stomp of "Mommas Reward" all the way to "Hurricane Man" in 5 or 6 years. They kept 'em coming...and all musical gems in their own right. Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

Bandages 12 July 2006
Format:Audio CD
This has to be , probably my favourite Edgar Broughton band album, tracks such as 'the Whale' are very atmospheric, and I love the 'Love gang-bang' that is very Blockbuster/Jean Jeanie in guitar riffs. As a band, they have aged very well musically, and sound as fresh as ever.
