For someone that has mustered the courage to live in a completely alien place, where rules are commonly bent and people are looked at suspiciously, Vicky has found a way to make her experiences in a third world region quite interesting. Not knowing where she is going to land next, what kind of food she is going to enjoy (or fall ill by) and the reactions of the amusing local characters that fall for her height and unmistakable foreign figure, makes it an interesting read.
If you never been to the places she is visiting, you'll find a refreshing point of view. If you have, you can't help chuckle with the narration of her encounters. It can be argued she romanticizes the places she visits, and that there is a lot left untold, but you will only know what to like and dislike if you read her blog entries. They are worth it.
