First book by Mark Bromley, well written, enjoyable and funny. Living in Basingstoke I knew most of places so it was easy to relate too. The story is quirky and different and well worth a read, look forward to your next book

A fantastic read whether you are a resident of basingstoke or not. Back in the 70's/80's every suburban town had a Glue Gardens equivalent and a Bongo or two flitting around. Buy it now!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bongo - The Glebe Garden Journals 10 Dec 2013
This is a must read. I haven't come across an author who, through the written page, has made me laugh so much. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a laugh and understands British culture. I am waiting for some more journals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comedy brilliance 10 Dec 2013
This book is a must buy. Having lived in jolly old Basingstoke and knowing Glebe Gardens I find it a work of comedy genius , brilliantly written by author Mark Bromley with great takes of the loveable Bongo I suggest everyone buys it for a good chuckle.

5.0 out of 5 stars A hilarious romp from Mark Bromley 27 Jan 2014

It's one of those books that makes you smile when it's not in your hand...funny, clever, faithful to its characters, and downright irreverent. The escapades of these two gentlemen of the kings highway will have you laughing out loud and shaking your head at the raw truth weaved into so much humour.
Bravo Mark Bromley let's have more where that came from!!
