Great CD 24 May 2009

This CD is going to be so difficult to review as I am so biased towards this band. Johnny Gioeli's voice is superb. How could any girl could resist him when he sings Broken Heart or Come Back to Me? The stand out track on this CD in my opinion is Ashes From The Oath - Axel's guitar playing beggers belief at times. As I've said in other ARP reviews he is influenced by Richie Blackmore, and at one time I had Richie at the top of my favourite guitarists however, he has slipped down to second place after Axel Rudi Pell. Silent Angel is a beautiful song, sung with plenty of passion and the guitar version of this track just floats me away. Hey Joe is not one of my favourites - Axel does a reasonable job of the vocals, but he is a fantastic guitarist not a singer.
