A lot of the book seemed to concentrate on enviromental issues that may now be causeing hormonal problems in humans. It discusses things like pesticides in foods and suggest ways of avoiding these contaminants and fixing problems you already may have caused by these. I was hoping for more information on using herbs and changes to diet to manage homone problems. I am also not convinced that all the science in this book is correct. I felt it lectured more about enviromental problems than helping with hormone problems.

Helpful 25 April 2011

I found this book extremely helpful and have noticed the differences already just by making small changes to my diet. Some chapters can be rather detailed ie. environmental factors but it is the type of book that you can read selectively.

Very interesting 16 Dec 2011

I found this book very interesting, very informative and really well written for the layperson. I hate taking medecines generally so learning ways to eat for better health and take natural supplements when you're not getting enough from food is very important to me. If you are serious about your state of health you can easily learn how to balance it with this book.
