I dip into this book frequently. It suits my viewpoint as a secular rationalist yogi / buddhist and somatics practitioner. Many people doing the spiritual path are so interested in ethereal things they miss the physical side of mind / body work (somatics). This book should help sceptics get some idea of what it is about (I won't say all about!) and help people with a scientific mind-set validate their practice. Hopefully it will help people intellectually interested in the philosophy of Buddhism realise that the mind/body changes are what it is all about and these are got from practicing somatics not academic study. Whether you use a western system like Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais, Hanna Somatics, Rolfing or the classic eastern systems this book is an excellent guide..
Keith - Kundalini Yoga teacher & Zen practitioner.
