Product Description

Product Description

RPM is pleased to bring you Volume 5 in its successful series unearthing the delights of the Apple Music song catalogue. Sure to find favour with collectors of the previous volumes, added to which we have seventeen previously unreleased tracks, and all but one of the artists are new to the series. Volume 5 has a strong flavour of the prevailing pop sound with acts coming out of the Beat era such as the Liverpool artists Buddy Britten, and The Perishers. Barry Alexander went on to form the harmony pop band Design. Rights Of Man became Grapefruit. As before, the package comes with a detailed booklet containing fascinating artist stories pulled together by Apple Music expert Stefan Granados. 94 Baker Street Revisited arrives ten years after we launched the series with the original 94 Baker Street. It continues to be a best seller and this latest Volume will further enhance the series reputation.

This was like Déjà vu. Love the tracks, the information behind them and fits well in to the other 'Baker street/Apple' recordings.
I just hope they find more!

4.0 out of 5 stars Keeping on keeping on 9 Feb 2013
By Richard
Volume 5 of this series which is obviously aimed at serious Beatles collectors as it would mean nothing to anyone into Oasis or collectors of 80s and 90s music.
There is no group on here called The Rights Of Man-that was a name on the demo which the sleeve notes refer to and the name was changed by John Lennon to Grapefruit
So what's here is 22 songs never issued at the time.Songs which are typical of British Beat as it was in the mid 60s before psychedelia

3.0 out of 5 stars Alright if you just like collecting late 60s pop 17 April 2013

This is an average collection of less and some less than average songs. It is plain to see why these were not hot hits , if any where hits at all. There is nothing really memorable here but, it is okay for people who like to collect authentic sixties music and this is why I gave it as many as 3 stars.
