4 of 4 people found the following review helpful By Ross Samson on 15 Sept. 2008
Format: Paperback
The book is almost faultless. Stuffed full of glorious photographs (with a nice balance of architectural facades, interiors, details, furniture, and plans), there is still enough text to give the reader more than enough biographic details of Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott as well as some reasonable synthesis of the architect's style and historical importance. And I got my copy for little more than a tenner! Still, it could be that I've given it 5 stars because of the subject matter. Does English architecture get any better than Baillie Scott's?
