There are many introductory books on the Baha'i religion, and their number increases as the faith becomes better known and more people want to know about it. They cover a wide range, from the near-academic to the very general, from the thorough to the basic, from the text-heavy to the highly-interested.
This book is peobably the shortedt and most basic of these intorductory works. It is small and there are no illustrations, but you get the picture. Indeed you get it very well, the author has an engaging style and an ability to put over what she wants to say. For those who just want to know a bit about what the Baha'i faith is and does, it is a good place to start: if the reader's interest is whetted there are many other titles to go on to.

Short and Beautiful introduction,

Beautifully written book. It definitely makes you want to read more about this religion, which has many similarities with Islam. At some point, I wasn't sure if the beauty is that of the faith itself or of the presentation of the writer who knows how to select the most attractive aspects of her faith. In any case, the book succeeded in stimulating both my respect and curiosity.
