For a compact book, easy enough to slip into a pocket, this offered reasonable detail on major sites and was pretty good on history of art. The map was also a useful size. But the whole thing seemed to have been poorly translated from another language, and quite obviously it had not been copy edited or proofread. There were spelling errors on every page and punctuation was almost unheard of. Most importantly the index was hopeless, so whatever nuggets there were within the pages proved difficult to find when you're on the hoof. It is rather suprising that the AA puts its name to this rather shoddy work. In urgent need of an upgrade!
