More About the Author

Andy Seed moved across the hills to North Yorkshire in the 1970s and after working in rural primary schools for several years started to write humorous books for children and adults at the start of the 2000s. He won the 2015 Blue Peter Book Award for his non-fiction collection of facts, jokes and wordplay 'The Silly Book of Side-Splitting Stuff' and now also writes fiction and poetry with the emphasis on fun.
After appearing on The Alan Titchmarsh Show on ITV, Andy wrote series of nostalgic memoirs for adults about his days as a young teacher in the Dales, with the first, 'All Teachers Great and Small' described by the Daily Mail as 'heart-warming and hilarious'.
Andy spends much of his time promoting reading for pleasure in schools across the UK, where his memorable and dramatic visits create a huge enthusiasm for books.
He is a table tennis enthusiast, a Man Utd fan and a haphazard gardener.

I used this for taking whole school assemblies for KS2 as well as KS1 as the themes are easily adaptable to include the whole primary phase. A great buy with lots of assembly themes included.
