This book is very clever and funny, and anyone who says otherwise is just plain wrong. Buy it immediately! You won't be sorry. Kate Le Vann is heading for great things.

Loved the characterization in this book - I can actually hear these people talking, see them living. I did not find it hard to follow in the least.

Having aquired this book by accident, I was pleasantly surprised to read the first few chapters and find myself actually laughing outloud, which is always good. However, it gets a bit wordy in places and I found myself having to re-read whole paragraphs to make sure I had the right gist. The ideas were good, but it was a bit of a let down. Blink and you'll miss the "twist" and the ending was an atrocious attempt at a cliff-hanger which left me wondering whether my copy was missing a couple of the last pages. Enough to while away the time, but don't forget to eat or sleep over it!
