It's been a long wait for this album to be released on CD. This was my favorite Ritchie Family album. The sound quality/resolution is amazing. The only reason I give it 4 out 5 is the promotional 12" remixes of Bad Reputation & Put Your Feet To The Beat are not on here.

Who says "It's a Man's World"? These ladies rule! 19 Dec. 2012

"Bad Reputation" marked The Ritchie Family's 1979 Casablanca debut and it is classic Casablanca to be sure. The singles "Put Your Feet To The Beat" and "Bad Reputation" hit it big on the Billboard Dance Charts, making the top 15 on their (now-defunct) regional "Disco Action" charts in such diverse places as Detroit, Montreal, Boston, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Pittsburgh and even going all the way to the top 2 in Phoenix and Seattle (kept out of the top spot by "Move On Up" by Destination and "Get Loose"/"Sexy Thing" by Bob McGilpin respectively). "Put Your Feet To The Beat" had all the signs of a sure-fire pop radio smash if it hadn't had the unfortunate disadvantage of being released shortly after the "Disco Sucks" rally in Chicago. The 12" remixes would have made some nice bonus tracks, especially since the "Bad Reputation" remix has yet to be released on cd. But it is so wonderful to have the entire album finally released on cd because the full length medley of "It's a Man's World"/"Where Are The Men" and "Sexy Man" make it well worth the price. Buy it before it goes out of print. Thanks Gold Legion and please re-release the "Give Me A Break" album on cd soon!

The Ritchie Family was one of those fun, campy groups that were produced to perfection and oh so enjoyable. Back in the disco days they were all the rage and now, their music still holds up. Put your Feet to The Beat and enjoy a whole CD filled with pure disco gold!

I hope this company release the main vinyls from The Ritchie Family, but this one has a very good sound and the presentation is excellent, as the Long Play (vinyl).
