5.0 out of 5 stars Little gem... 18 Mar 2011
Format:Audio CD
Great review by Mr. Chestney above. Couldn't agree more that this band deserved much more accolades than they received. Whilst the music may be AOR/soft rock orientated, the class is there for all to hear. Waite on vocals, Cain tinkling the ivories and Schon and his 6 string providing his usually underrated-outstanding performance. The rhythym section of Castranova on drums and Phillips on bass complete a highly talented 'super-group'.

13 songs on the album, and whilst not every one is a classic there are a few on here. 'When I See You Smile' was the big ballad and probably the one song most will know. 'Tough Times Don't Last', 'Rockin Horse', 'Restless Ones', 'Ghost In Your Heart' are stand out tracks for me.

A mid-tempo album that doesn't have a balls out rocker on it but doesn't suffer from that! Still sounds great today production wise (some 80's album suffer from that era, Ozzy's 'Ultimate Sin' springs to mind!) Drums sound 'powerful' at times too- intro of 'Ghost...'

If you are a fan of AOR and haven't got this beauty, don't hesitate and purchase right away!!
