About the Author
Roger McGough was born in Liverpool and educated at the University of Hull. He came to prominence in the 1960s with the publication of THE MERSEY SOUND and is one of today's most popular poets. He writes for children and adults and performs his poetry all over the world. Roger won the Signal Poetry Prize in 1983 for SKY IN THE PIE. He was honoured with an OBE in the 1997 New Year's List. Roger McGough now lives in London.

This is a good read for children and adults. Lots of excellent poems, several made me laugh out loud and is a favourite book of my 3 year old granddaughter when she comes to visit.

I have known Roger McGough's work since seeing him with the Scaffold nearly 40 years ago and this litle book once again entertained us particularly as we have 2 Bad Cats. I will keep looking out for further reminders of the cats that we have owned.

I have lost count of the number of times I have gifted this little treasure, just for the Poem written by Roger McGough for the Cat's Protection League. Great poetry for kids of all ages.
