Nowadays it's not hard to listen to an album before it is bought. That's the reason why you don't need to read this review: just take a quick listen to the first, second or third song on the album and you will be aware of the truth in the tittle. This one's the best album Glyder has published up to now, the most eclectic one, the finest (and most powerful) production, and a new line-up that will make you to forget the older one: Jackie Robinson's vocals joining the two guitarrists rise "Backroads to Byzantium" to the 2011's tops in classic and modern rock.
A must have album which worths every dollar, pound or euro of its price.

Having bought all the previous Glyder albums the new vocalist on this new album lifts Glyder into a new category. Jackie Robinson's voice is brilliant and gives Glyder a real edge on songs like 'Fade to Dust' and 'Don't make their mistakes', which come with excellent riffs and some really sweet solos. The acoustic 'Motions of Time' is absolutely brilliant and shows another more laid back side to the band.
It's a hard rock masterpiece with incredible melodies and some glorious Americana influences. Well worth a listen.
