This Executive style Backgammon set, measures approximately 37.5x25x5cms. The case and carry handle are made of varnished oak. Inside, the points are inlaid. The cups are finished in a leather grain PVC. The set includes high-density plastic stones, dice, doubling dice and instructions. 2 players, ages 9+.

The product is incredibly over priced for the quality of it. Additionally, there is no way of securing the counters when the set is closed so they are free to rattle around the closed box. Not very well thought through for a product marketed at this price.

This isn't a bad backgammon set but it's not a particularly good one and it's certainly not worth the money. The page says it's made of oak. The box says 'oak effect' and it appears to be plastic wood, apart from the handle which clearly is wood as it's not very well finished.
Inside the pieces, dice and shakers all look like they have come from a very cheap and much smaller set. And I'm pretty certain that the 'inlaid' board is printed. So... it's perfectly adequate for playing a game of backgammon but there is nothing 'executive' or special about it to justify the price.
