Not what you are looking for.,

I have trawled the net for ages trying to find a Modern Romance CD. My vinyl LP is getting a little tired, and I long for a chance to hear these songs in clear CD sound. So imagine my joy when I see a Modern Romance CD on sale with all the favorites included. Alas my pleasure turned to disappointment when I played it. All the songs have been re-recorded. New versions, evey one of them. They have lost a lot of the fun and energy of the original recordings. So if you were a big M R fan in the 80's, I am afraid you will be very disappointed with this CD.WHERE CAN I GET A CD WITH ALL THE ORIGINALS ON IT ? Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Very poor cover versions on this album,

Like the previous reviewer, I thought this was the first compilation of the great 80's songs by Modern Romance. Sadly, this is not the case, but poor remakes recorded when the band reformed in 2001.
