despite the critics 29 Dec 2009
Format:Audio CD
Despite the critics to this album, the tracks are extremely catchy once you have heard them a few times. The true oasis fan will appreciate this album, but it probily wont appeal to the commercial audience.Standing on the Shoulder Of Giants

Not bad 10 Nov 2000
Format:Audio CD
This is quite an enjoyable album although not as good as Masterplan - has some good tracks on them and is still definitely one of my most planned albums I have. If you are a fan or even an occasional fan of Oasis music then get this album.

When I bought this album, people asked me: "Is it any good?" The answer is "yes" with a "but", or "no" with an "except" depending on my mood. Standing on the shoulders is not Oasis' best album, not by a long chalk, but it at least shows a bit of a change. Don't forget, Oasis have a new line up, and that new line up has yet to record any new stuff. The live shows have shown they still have something in them and the good moments o the album point to some future promise. If the next album isn't a return to form, then I'll eat my hat. Maybe.
