Essential reading to help understand what is wrong and why it has gone wrong. Helps you through the acute stage of any back pain, then also to maintain your own back health and prevent future problems. Easy to read with clear pictures and diagrams.

Just a short review, had back trouble for years, been getting stiffer and slower for a while, made worse by sitting at a desk for most of the day, was recommended this book, what a life changer, I now understand why my back aches, how to stop it when it does ache and how to help prevent problem in the first place.

A useful little book for quick reference but less informative than others I have read. Written by a physiotherapist and therefore concentrates primarily on exercises. Read more

As a long term back sufferer
This book is essential for anyone with a bad, or even aching back. It resonates with wisdom and will remove a lot of the fear and uncertainty that comes with the pain.
