The World of Adventures contains many adventures, not least the fun playful music that you can find all over the album, the ultra awesome bass playing in the Atomic prince for example at the beginning is just really simple but brilliant. The keyboard playing in the first song is really pretty with the guitar solos too. The album lacks Hasse Froberg's vocals obviously because he wasn't in the band at this point. The music is excellently played and is stuffed to the edge of the C.D though nothing really feels like it was just recorded for the C.D to fill up space.
This is the flower Kings debut album but sort of their second album because the album called flower King was done first but was a solo album by Roine Stolt, ( it is complicated)
The picture on the front is pretty cool and I think it represents the music quite well most very bright and positive and fun. Lots of vocal harmonies and well thought out keyboard sounds and melodies, interesting bass guitar playing and drumming too.

All in all a FINE debut album

This is the first album by Sweden's The Flower Kings who are arguably the finest in contemporary progressive rock. The musicianship is equal to that of Yes in their prime with the vocals being closer to a cross between John Wetton and David Bowie than Jon Anderson. Writer-leader-singer-guitarist Roine Stolt plays with a rich unique tone and sound that draws from Zappa, Howe and Hackett while maintaining a strong sense of originality. Tomas Bodin is the most inventive and intriguing keboardist to emerge since the days of Wakeman and Emerson. Jaime Salazar plays the drum kit brilliantly with tight but creative skill. Bassist Michael Stolt is a capable Chris Squire/Mike Rutherford disciple. Together the band creates some rich, inspired music with some "positive" adult themed lyrics. Highly recommended...Simon
