Format:Audio CD
Here at last is the long awaited album from the mighty Bugz in the Attic.I tell you what you need this! Imagine a fusion of the finest eighties soul/boogie and P-funk then fuse these elements through the 21st century London breakbeat blender.Right now you get the picture.
"Redhanded",track six,is a deadly funky broken groove which I find it impossible to keep still to. If Roy ayres's ubiquity had reformed for 2006 this is what it would sound like."Knocks me off my feet",track eight,is a joyful groove featuring the wonderful songbird Bembe Segue.
Other killer tracks include"Once twice",the brazilian batacuda sounding"Sounds like" and "It don't work like that" which is kind of 2-step meets rare groove if that makes any sense.Also don't miss the mid-eighties sounding"No more" and "Consequences" the former having an 808 drum machine pattern which was big at the time.
All in all then a wicked album which you should buy.The question isn't can you put a fruit pastille in your mouth without chewing it,rather it is can you keep still whilst listening to this cd-I think not!

I have this in my car and to be honest it's not coming out of my CD changer any time soon! This album is superb, Move Aside, Happy Day, Worla Hurt and all of the rest of the tunes make your journey to work much better.
Four stars as the only criticism would be the "skit" tunes which are still good, the beats excellent etc. but I would have preferred just another excellent tune to add to this already sublime collection... buy it - you won't be disappointed...

Just following on from the other reviews...but going one better as I am giving this 5 out of 5. This Album is absolute class. I can't put my finger on why exactly, or proclaim to understand the background to the different fusion of beats. But what ever it is....it works a treat.
Special mention to the following tracks "redhanded" "knocks me off my feet" "dont stop the music" and of course "booty la la"
