Randy Bachman and Fred Turner have once more joined forces and they are now to release a killer new album. Bachman & Turner were, of course, the creative driving force of Bachman Turner Overdrive, an act that enjoyed massive international success throughout the 1970s. After many years of gentle prodding by music fans and industry aficionados, Randy Bachman and Fred Turner, two giants of rock 'n' roll, are finally back together after being apart for over 20 years.
The new album features 12 new tracks (plus a UK radio edit bonus track) and is a true tour de force. A delighted Randy Bachman said, "It's like the lost BTO greatest hits album." Fred Turner added, "If it was just going out and redoing the old Bachman-Turner Overdrive thing rehashing the old songs just to put some bucks in my pocket I'm not interested," emphasizes Fred. "If I had a chance to go out and play new things and grow, then I'll be offering people something."
Bachman Turner Overdrive sold in excess of 30 million albums worldwide and added several true classics to the rock canon. 'You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet' will be familiar to anyone who has ever switched on a radio and 'Takin' Care Of Business' and 'Roll On Down The Highway' are tracks that cemented the band's place in music's roll of honour.

Truly awesome cd from bachman and turner, raw rock sound from 2 of the best rock musicians, still get that unique bachman turner overdrive sound from the 70`s and 80`s that made BTO one of my favourite bands ever, Randy Bachman a guitar genius, long may you rock.

This is a great and long awaited welcome return from the two key members of my favourite band BTO. Please Randy and Fred include the UK on your tour and bring out a second album soon!! If I could give it six stars I would. Every track is great.These guys can rock and they show the so called 'modern' rock bands we hear today to be a bunch of wimps! Rock on BT!

Arguably the best performance at High Voltage 2010. Catchy, anthemic rock, delivered with panache. I can't rate this album highly enough, and I can't understand why this album hasn't catapulted them back into the big time? Every track is a highlight, so I won't bother cherry picking.

a good hard rawking album
its a superb hard rawking album that doesn't require the skip the song button as each song notably the catchy "Rollin Along" to the "Slave to the rhythm" and "I've seen the light"... Read more
