Format:Mass Market Paperback
The Batchelor in Demand is by far the best of Brenda Jackson's works. Batchelor Undone is steamy and sexy, portraying the lead character as independent and sexually knowledgeable. This series just gets better and better.

This book wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The story did seem a bit recycled yet again from others. Woman goes on vacation with the intention of having an island fling. Runs into her nemesis, and they proceed to have hot passionate sex. Woman gets mad and leaves, man eventually finds her, and they get married The End. There were a ton of sex scenes in this book. I won't even say love scenes, because they were strictly sex, which is perfectly ok with me. Quite a bit of them were really hot. In particular look out for the infamous raft episode, that one really almost made the book fully redeem itself. I don't know, I think I am just looking for some new material from Brenda Jackson. The whole meet, fall in love, break up, get back together, and get married quickly scenario is just so old now. She really needs to take a break and come back with some new fresh material. The recycling of material is becoming rather redundant.

Words can not express how disappointed I am with the last few books from Brenda Jackson; this one included. The books have become formulaic and so contrived. It seems lately that she just want to write "sex scenes" (not love) for the sake of sex. This is not romance, its just "sex". I enjoy reading about loving caring and exciting sex in a book with a believable storyline (or a storyline). I have no idea what the problem is however, I do know that Brenda Jackson used to be a wonderful story teller who could provide the intelligent reader with complex and interesting characters (with character). Now it seems as if she trying to compete with authors who only know how to write about sex. Those authors can't really write. It takes talent to create a work of art that contains an interesting story line, romance, sex, and entertainment. Again, I am so disappointed.

This book was great!! The best of the three Bachelor series. I enjoyed the book from beginning to end. I am looking forward to reading the other three bachelor books. A great writer, keep up the good work Brenda Jackson, I just love all your books and always look forward eagerly to reading them.
