Rye flour by it's very nature is intense and deep. This is a perfect example, I have yet to discover better.

I've had this flour for a little while and I'm very happy with it. I use it for my sourdough starter - it has a beautiful fruity smell and tastes great in breads, certainly my best yet.

That said, I'm not sure I'll be buying again. The delivery by Yodel was a day late (no explanation given), and after reading reviews I realise I've been lucky. It could have been that much longer. I'd really like to see sellers such as Bacheldre putting pressure on Amazon to ditch this delivery company, seeing as this will be impacting on their sales.

I hope this problem gets resolved soon as I'll definitely be wanting more of this flour!

Having used this flour for couple of years now I found this one to be the best. Obviously I tested other organic flours from various suppliers/countries but always came back to this one. Bread Bakers look no further and Bacheldre please keep up the great work!!!

100g strong white flour
2 tbsp sugar

I use this flour for a 50% Rye 50% White Loaf in a breadmaker. It is really delicious. I mostly use use the Bacheldre Stoneground strong white baker's flour for breadmaking and have also used their Rustic Country Bread flour and based on having used these I think it is a really excellent brand - and reasonably priced.

As a rye bread addicted household we eat a loaf a day. Sounds impressive until you realise most of the hard work is done by the bread machine.

Love having it delivered to the door on a regular basis without ending up with arms trailing to the ground having humped it back from the supermarket or paid exorbitant delivery charges.

Of all the Rye flours I have used think this is my favourite. When baking 100% rye it somehow seems a tad less brick like (strangely that is part of the pleasure) and a bit more flavoursome.

I have used this Bacheldre Stoneground Rye Flour to make a Rye bread recipe by The Hairy Bikers, I also used Bacheldre Stoneground Strong white bread flour mixed with it, it turned out absolutely beautiful, a mix of a slight fruity/malty taste, I managed to have just 3 slices of this delicious bread because all my friends got to taste it as well and they loved it too, a great product I would highly recommend to anyone that likes to try different bread flours as I do

Bacheldre Watermill flour makes all the difference to the loaves I bake. I use the Stoneground Rye to make a Scandinavian Rye loaf and the flavour is delicious every time. If you want to start out baking, this is a good place (in terms of flour) to begin and you probably won't ever need to move on.

Oh and the subscribe and save makes it ever better!
