I bought this as my piano teacher has an older edition which seemed very good. Unfortunately this new version isn't the same as the previous edition.
One particular fugue I was working on was condensed from three pages (old book) to two pages in this version. This made it unreadable with so many notes crammed together.
Also because of the cheap spine and the thickness of the book, the thing never stays open! Avoid.

At first I was impressed with this book. Great price, both books in one, fine spine, notation not too small either - and of course the music itself sublime. However after learning several pieces, scouring their details and listening to great performances (favorite so far is Schiff)I can say that while the majority of the notes are correct, there are many errors. This is not what one would expect from any sheet music, let alone that of some of the most important music ever composed.
Seeing as there are many other editions out there (and Dover's is a similar price) that won't be riddled with mistakes, I would recommend any of them. Avoid if you are serious about playing these pieces.

I bought this edition because of Czerny's edition as i thought it would be good. but it was a blunter... it's fingering isn't good at all, and the worst of all is that it is foul in mistakes, many wrong notes and notations in every piece. i don't recomend it at all

Very poor interpretation
I bought this on the reccomended list, but it has some wierd interpretation of the music, including writing for the wrong hand, extra phrases and exceptionally wierd fingering. Read more

Accessible piano classics
My husband has been able to sight-read this music straight away, courtesy of the fingering given. This music is accessible to be played by those prepared to practice.
