A very beautiful recording. The guitarist performs these gorgeous, technically brilliant pieces with aplomb. The sound is very fine too, as Naxos is very capable of doing, especially in solo instrument recordings. Of course, the highlight is Bach's famous Chaconne in D minor, and in Graham Devine's hands it's a very moving piece.

Not for everyone as ambient music, but when I'm coding it's just the job. Wasn't aware of this guitarist, but he's a dazzling player but somehow without making a grand technical statement; he gets it just right.
