This is a great recording. Good tempos and is performed on period instruments at 415 pitch. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this.

Unfortunately the St Matthew Passion is sung in German on this set. The description did not specify this and the album cover was in English. However, the music is still useful for rehearsal purposes to sing along with the score. For interested parties Oldham Choral are singing this at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester on Palm Sunday, 1 April 2012, at 7.00 pm.

Thre is very little that I can say. This is a music score which is exactly what I wanted. As usual it arrived earlier than expected!

Bach St Matthew Passion
This took a long time to be delivered, somewhat unusually. I first received a DVD which was intended for another customer. I do not know if they received my CD.
