A wonderful recording and it has something humane and less robotic than a Yo Yo Ma. I have nothing against more contemporary style and it may be that I love this thing because of the nostalgia as well. So, if you have a love for this music and treasure rather than object to the creakyness, I am heartily recommending this recording as well worth the money.

However, you should know that I am only writing this review to complain. I downloaded the recording. Something in the software jumbled up the sections of the suites, and the suites themselves, into some order based on their key and the length of the last note!! Or some other thing I failed to identify. Anyway, to use the download I had to rearrange all the suites and pieces into their correct order. I did that, and they were shuffled again when I moved them into windows media player to load them onto an MP3 player. The motherboard on the computer collapsed the following day, and, since they were the only thing I was having trouble with at the time, I haven't touched the download on the restoration job I did for my new box.

Beware jumbled downloads hiding malware???
