when I put the seat on a toilet and sat my grandson on it, it collapsed inwards.

is very good for carrying around, and the design is great, only problem i have is that it doesnt fit toilets very well...so my daughter doesnt like sitting on it like her one for the house, the fold at the back tends to dip when shes sat on it, and shes only a very light 2 yr old

This seat is really a brilliant idea. It is convenient, as it folds away nice and tidy to put in most bags. The print is also good as it encourages the child to use it. How much better than a plain, white seat - in theory.

However, it is not deep enough for most public toilets, meaning the back of the seat sits somewhere around the middle of most toilet openings. This means the child cannot put weight on the back of the seat, making it a bit unstable. There is also quite a bit of flex in the seat as a whole. It does tend to shift if the child is at all active and/or impatient - like mine - as the rubber grips are quite small and merely rest on the toilet seat (versus the sort that catch on the inside of the toilet seat, i.e., the Cushie Traveller). All-in-all, these means that it does sometimes pinch little bottoms at the middle fold, and we have also had the seat come off the toilet - with or without the child sometimes threatening to fall in.

I'd recommend only if your child sits patiently on the toilet without squirming.

The foldable travel seat is great - it fits easily into a bag (with a spare change of toddler clothes - just in case) and the bright animals are nice for my son to look at.
One negative point - the back of the seat is a bit weak. It doesn't reach the back of the toilet, so the child can't put much weight on it. There are two handles at the front to encourage the child to lean forward, but my son doesn't seem to find this the most comfortable position to sit in for long.

This is okay but it's quite light weight and my 2 year old did not feel secure on it. In addition to that he kept telling me the seat was pinching his bottom. But useful if you really can't get your child to sit on an adult toilet seat when you are out and about.

Really useful for toilet training while out of the home, it folds quite small taking up less space than a couple of nappies and wipes. we use it to help my son feel safe while on an adult toilet with the added benefit of being a bit more hygenic than most public toilet seats. not perfect though as it does not seem very strong, there is a lot of flex when hes sat on it, i expect this is the compromise for it being foldable. Great for occasional use.

I bought this for my then 25 month old son. He absolutely loved it to bits and loved the cartoony design on it. However, like most reviewers have mentioned, it is very oddly built, it looks as though it was not made with a typical toilet seat design/shape in mind at all. It is far too 'boxy' to fit well on a standard seat and the rubber grips are useless. My son is on the heavy side and after it gave way and almost slipped into the toilet once, he is terrified of sitting on it without clinging to me for dear life. Because of the odd fit and size, he has ended up weeing straight out the bowl many times too and straight into his trousers at the bottom of his legs.

On a positive note, it does fold to a good size and fits into his baby bag and without it, he simply refuses to go on the big seat - so in that aspect, it is a huge relief to own one of these but I would've chosen a different one had I known all the issues before.

Such a poor product. It collapsed inwards, which hurts my son;s bottom, and instead of making the learning experience pleasurable, it made it traumatic. Please DONT sell this product anymore. Its not good at all!
