We purchased this cot for my son once he became too big for the 'pop-up' costs, the length of the cot means it will last us until he no longer needs one (so no need to buy another). He is a 'big' 2 year old and still fits easily.
It folds in on itself very well for transport, and comes with its own carrier. There is however a 'knack' to putting it up and down, but this is the case for all such products.
The worst aspect of the product is that you really do need to buy a proper mattress to go with it - the one it comes with is basically hard board with some cushioning (but not much) on it - this obviously means you are transporting a lot more than just the bed (although you could put a blanket over the mattress the product comes with).
In terms of durability, it is very robust, my son climbs all over it and I never get the feeling it is going to collapse.
So, all-in-all a good product, but slightly let down by the mattress.
