Product Description

This is a bold, bright new book for babies containing beautifully designed high-contrast images that are easy for newborn babies to focus on as well as touchy-feely patches to bring the pictures to life. In it, each picture contains a tactile element to help very young children develop important sensory skills. This padded 'soft touch' hardback is perfect for sharing or can be propped up for babies to see.

Tis is a lovely book for a baby or very young toddler to look at pictures and point at things. Lots to talk about and touch. Usborne books are really lovely and make great presents.

touch part lets it down 17 April 2012
Format:Hardcover|Amazon Verified Purchase
The book is colourful and my little boy (3 months) would look at the pictures for a few minutes before getting bored. However I'm disappointed by the touch element which I feel could be better - the size of the touch element of each picture compared with the page size is small - and I don't think many babies would notice the change in textures that much because of the size of the fabric bit. I wouldn't buy this again in hindsight for my son until he was a bit older opting for a complete soft page book for 3 month babies which i think are much better. This might be a better option for older babies say from 5/6 months but even then the touch element still lets it down.

Great and fun 10 Jan 2012
Format:Hardcover
Great first book, daughter too young to focus on it right now but looking forward to her discovering it. Good size with bright colours and good range of textures.
