I bought these rollers a couple of weeks ago and they are brilliant.
My hair is long and quite thick so I was dubious about how well they would create a curl in my hair as I had to wrap a lot of hair around the curler before the curler reached my head - but I have to say they work very well and gave me shiny ringlet curls that looked brill.
The kit contains colour coded pins which relate to the different coloured rollers and also super clips with a drawstring bag to store them all in, I know that other Babyliss roller kits don't provide anywhere to store your clips. The pins do a better job of keeping the roller securely in place than the super clips but do take longer to get the hang of, but once you do, I found them a lot easier as they give a tighter hold and also don't obstruct your view of the rest of your hair as the super clips can stick out quite a way .
The kit has two heat settings and an on/off indicator light, but one downside is that it does not have a 'ready' indicator so at first for me it was a bit of guesswork, but I found that 10 minutes to let the unit heat up is suffice. The selection of roller sizes is great and I nearly use all of them as I have so much hair! The rollers themselves have a 'cool rim' but be warned that this is only on one side of the roller, so take care to hold the right side of the roller when inserting or you will get hot fingers.
The first time you use, the unit gives off quite a strong 'plasticky' smell but disappears after 2-3 uses.
4/5 stars due no ready indicator (other Babyliss rollers have a ready dot on a roller) and I would have also liked some basic instructions of use included but I guess this is because they are from the professional range, but we are not all hair stylists!
